‘Prayer’

I am weak and broken as I fall to my knees

I am holding my hands asking the lord please

To help see me through the darkest of times

For he is the only one that can read between the lines

I am breathing deep and heavy trying to set my soul free

From this raging fire that I feel burning from inside of me

Help me lord for I am lost and need to be found

My world is twisting and turning upside down

I am still here I did not disappear

I will stay strong

But I do not know for how long

Guide me to the light

So that I can do what is right

I want to be free I want to be me

 

‘Quest’

 When you go outside in the middle of the night

Do you do what is wrong or do you do what is right

You have two paths to choose as you look down the street

One path is victorious and the other is defeat

I can pull through this madness going through my mind

If I can just take another step everything would be fine

But I am stuck standing still like a weight in the sand

I need to stay focused and not lose the upper-hand

This battle is fierce and will take all of me to survive

No matter where my conscience takes me I will still be alive

Feeling everything that I can ever possibly endure

It was given to me and will only make me pure

Do not be afraid to walk your fate in this world alone

You will understand when your finally resting on your throne.

 

‘The Other-Side’

No more will I stand misguided

Everyday keeping myself divided

From the world that twist and turns

We all have our scrapes and burns

Worry about now and just forget about then

You are not guaranteed another tomorrow again

This life is not a movie you can put on rewind

It is something deep within that we all have to find

Do what you can just as long as it is your best

No doubt that everything done is another test

Our heart guides us with one of two choices

Free will being one but you hear two different voices

In the blink of an eye your life will come and go

Ask yourself just how much do you honestly know

I am told I am self-righteous in all different ways

When it is my life I am fighting the battle goes on for days

Bring your judgments and let see exactly what you got

I know in the end it will prove exactly what you are not

Stay focused and keep your mind in that positive frame

Take nothing for granted life is not like playing a game

 

‘Desperation ‘

What is desperation?   Desperate times and desperate measures can really open your eyes.   You start to notice life is not what it seems.  Everything we see is all an image of entertainment.   None of which truly exists.  All add up to an underlying meaning which most cannot recognize on their own.  Most think going food shopping, work and other errands are a daily essential of life.   In reality, it has nothing to do with the actual living part of it.  Growing up, you’re taught to be a leader.  Do not ever follow is the advice given by teachers, family and friends.   Do not follow.   It is a contradiction in itself if you think of it.   Society today is not livable unless you conform and follow what everyone believes to be normal.

In reality, you have to work if you want to survive.   So many people do not have luxuries that many people look at as a general standard of living.   A general standard of living to most include having a job, a car, a house or apartment,  food on the table or family and friends to visit.   There are so many lives affected by this standard.   Most cannot even supply one of these standards let alone all.   Those of us who do have all that was listed still are not satisfied.  It does not stop there.   Cell phones, computers with internet connection or flat screen televisions with cable are also additional luxuries not many of us have.

I just recently got my first cell phone plan and I honestly do not see the point. Let’s talk or text.  I do not have cable.  In actuality, you save over a million dollars in your life just from not having this extra perk.

I do not know about you, but I would rather have that million dollars than the reality TV everyone is desperately wanting to see on cable.   It is so pointless.   That is where desperation comes in.   People are unhappy if they do not amount to the generalized standard of living society imprinted on civilization.   Pathetic really.  When you see the hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunami’s, floods, volcanic eruptions from natural disasters killing hundreds of thousands and injuring even more, none of these so called standards even seem relevant.

There are those who will desperately try however. Try their best to express this image of so called success in their lives so that they may feel more accepted as a person.  At one point in my life I tried to do the same.  Wanting to be like everyone else it seems, I dressed to impress.  I even got a nice car and a decent job.  Thought everything was great until I realized I still did not feel whole inside.

When are you going to wake up and realize it does not matter about how much or many? Who have you helped, other than yourself?  What makes you have the urges and make the choices you do?  It all comes down to one simple mistake.  One common error we all are guilty of at some point.    Change it!

 

‘Wake-Up’

Humanity has interrupted our planet’s atmosphere and resources but, there is still time for us to turn minds into different courses.

Before we can fix the world, we have to correct ourselves.

As we continue to live life for wealth and power, we should be striving to shift our own selfish desires.

We are all saints turned into sinners but each of us is born pure natural winners.

In God’s eyes, his cries, watching down, always frowning by how people be treating one another, when our purpose is just to be here for each other.

For the types of strife that we endure through this life, sometimes it’s not right.

For the going hard to going home, the hardest times are being alone, but just sit tight.

We are tempted by patience, but to those who wait, your dreams will take flight.

Remember, we are not meant to live for worldly possessions, be honest with yourself, what would be your last confessions.

These thoughts people have are such an evil mentality, sometimes it is almost as if society lives in a different reality.

The mind can be used as a secret weapon for your own self-destruction, if you are not careful with decisions it can turn into a cerebral eruption.

Consideration, compassion and understanding, will save our existence from eternal damnation.

It might already be too late, but for now we sit and wait, as only the Lord knows our true forever ending fate.
